Generation 3.4

Ah, it looks like Humphrey has gained a promotion in the political arena, and comes home to find Warlock George outside teaching his daughter Carla how to walk, on a fine spring day.  George was successful teaching Carla how to put one foot in front of the other.

Then he accuses Kaley of cheating.  heh.  She must have done something when I wasn't looking.  Either that, or he is paranoid.  She now has a cheater reputation.  Honest, all she did all day long was take care of the bee hive, feed the chickens in their new chicken coop, and gather some gems for her alchemy, and all this was done in their own back yard.  She did have a a love in high school, then a different one in college.  So George may be referring to those guys.  Geesh.

The Cartwrights had not thrown a party in a while, so an indoor birthday party was had for Carla, as it was pouring the rain outside.

Carla Cartwright

Traits:
Exciteable
Loves the Heat
Light Sleeper

Carla's mother Kaley is upset in the picture above, as she is still mourning Gene's death, and George has persisted in yelling at her all day.

Xrabbite came to the party, and cried inconsolably for Gene.

Naturally (formerly gorgeous) Selina Ramey who was George's mother, and Carla's grandmother came to the party.  She had become a vampire somewhere along the way, and met a vampire type starvation death at Carla's party.  She pled with Grim, but he would hear none of it.

George had his birthday to adult without much fan fare.  By this time he wasn't quite so peeved with Kaley and did not make her sleep in the spare bedroom, and had even thrown a wish to woo-hoo with her.  Then he decided that he was in a midlife crises, and really didn't know what he wanted.

Spring and Love Day rolled around, winter was over, finally.  Carla wanted to dress up to go to the Spring Festival, so she did.

While at the festival, and while in the middle of his midlife crises, George marched over to Kaley and divorced her.  Just like that.  (free will).  heh  It seems like life altering events happen to the Cartwrights at festivals.

While her parents were getting a divorce, Carla got her face painted like a bunny.

Even though Kaley and George were divorced, George did not move out of the Cartwright house.  Kaley was the target of daily screaming matches and insults from George.  He really was being a mean warlock.  Finally Kaley unleashed a flask of angry bees on him.  That'll teach him, alright.  She then followed that up with an implication that George's mother was actually a llama.

At this point George started thinking that maybe he was wrong and tried to make up with Kaley by apologizing to her, then some consolation.  Kaley would have none of it she pushed him away.  Ah well.  These two certainly have some kind of love/hate relationship going on. (free will).

Then it was time for Kaley's birthday to adult hood and like George before her, she had a midlife crises.  She now feels she must redesign her wardrobe, and get more muscular.  At least it's nothing as drastic as what George wanted!!!  Oh yes, and she wanted to buy a car costing at least $10,000.  And so it was!

George has another episode with bees.  He brought this on himself, he wanted to feed the bees.  tsk tsk.

Kaley finally reached gardening 7, which meant she could plant the forbidden fruit seed she made with the science machine.  She had thrown a wish to have another baby with George, but it looks like that ain't happenin'.

Oh but wait.....

Sneaky George casts a love spell on Kaley....will she accept his advances???  Well, hafta visit the toilet first...then....

Awww....this is so sweet.  Let's see how it goes after the spell wears off.   While he had his chance, George whisked Kaley off to bed for some woo-hoo.  (Did not try for baby)

This chapter should be titled "All About Kaley and George."  heh.  This couple is so much fun I can't help but play them constantly.  In the meantime the rest of the Cartwrights.......Humphrey got a magical makeover from the magic mirror, then started practicing charisma with it, hoping it would help his political career.

Carla aged to teen, and rolled the trait 'nurturing'.  Heh.

In the meanwhile, the family was informed that long time friend of the Cartwrights, Xrabbite Sims, and gone on to the great Sim Beyond.   Sad.

Humphrey had fallen hopelessly in love with Latanya McCullough.  He didn't just use his inane political prattle on her.  When he talked to her, it meant something!

WOOT!  Pete did it!

Now everything he does can be counted toward the Completion Challenge!

So alrighty then.  The guy who gets arrested over and over becomes the Emperor of Evil....

And the one who innocently dips into campaign funds just a little bit gets fired from his job.  *sigh*  So Humphrey starts over again, at the bottom of the ladder to become Leader of the Free World.  Good thing he has a death flower in his back pack.  heh

I am sorry, but this is possibly one of the strangest things I have seen in all of The Sims franchise.

This is better, I am used to seeing green babies.  This is Blossom, she is good, and loves the outdoors.

Pete, who is Emperor of Evil, and possesses the Evil Trait,  gets a red glow around him everytime he picks up Blossom, who is Good.  I find this amusing.  I am having lots of fun with Pete.  Stay tuned to next update to see what is in store for him!

All Things Magical....

The full moon happened, and somehow the zombies started finding their way into the garden, even though there is a fence around it.  George thought to stop this by wielding the toadification curse on them.  George was in the house when the turned the first one, and the zombie came right in, turned human again, and George was able to cast the curse.  The giant toad then left.

Kaley must make and use 50 elixirs to reach her lifetime want.  At one point she threw a wish to make the Potent Zombiefication elixir.  She really didn't want to turn any of her family members into zombies, (even though she is Evil, but not that Evil), so she went to the summer festival to find victims.  Here she found her maid, and turned her.  Heh.  Needless to say, a different maid showed up the next day at the Cartwright home.

At this point in time, Kaley realizes there are many elixirs she can make and use to further her family's position in Sunset Valley.  Stay tuned.

It has been two sim weeks now, and this entry is ended with a picture of Carla heading off to the prom.

Poor girl, her crush ignored her, and she did not fall in love.

Have fun everyone, and keep on Simmin', TS2 or TS3!  They are both great and wonderful.

  2. Wow, what an eventful entry. So are George and Carly still broken up but still living together? Did she still forgive him after the spell wore off? Your game is so much more interesting than mine right now I think, lol.

    1. Yes, George and Kaley still live in the Cartwright house together. And I don't think it was apparent when the spell wore off, I don't remember seeing any messages. But she stayed in love with him. I keep watching now to see if they can get remarried. :)

  3. I had a sims3 guy once that married at least three women that broke up with him. I think he ignored the relationships to death. I like that feature in s3 - that they wish to get a divorce sometimes, not only to get married. Adds some spice! :)
